Stacy earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies, focusing on Consumer Society & Globalism, from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley in 2009. Armed with a deep understanding of societal dynamics and an innate commitment to equity and social justice, Stacy embarked on a path that would define her career.
Stacy's career took a significant turn when she co-founded the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Movement (DIEM) at Singularity University (SU) in 2018. In her role as Co-Founder and Co-Chair, she spearheaded initiatives that promoted gender and racial equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Stacy's influence extended beyond the organization's walls as she engaged with the global ecosystem, fostering accessibility and equity on a global scale.
Stacy's dedication to creating inclusive, equitable, and healthy work environments has been a consistent theme throughout her career. Her tenure as Senior Events Manager at Singularity University showcased her exceptional talent in orchestrating large-scale events and optimizing operational effectiveness. As Program Manager for the Global Solutions Program at SU, Stacy demonstrated her ability to manage complex international programs, oversee substantial budgets, and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Her role demanded meticulous planning, vendor management, and the orchestration of intricate logistics to ensure a seamless experience for participants from over 40 countries.
Stacy's impact transcended SU when she assumed the role of Chief of Staff at Include Ventures. In this capacity, she served as a strategic partner, aligning various business functions, optimizing operational processes, and fostering effective communication within the organization. Stacy's keen ability to drive innovation and optimize outcomes was pivotal in her role.
